Physical Strength Compare to Power Training

What is Physical Strength?

Physical Strength is the force developed against resistance like force required to lift a box against its weight (resistance). Strength requires muscle, not always but to an extent. More muscle leads to more strength especially for beginners whatever exercises they do, they tend to feel some increase in strength. In conjunction, one cannot leave another back since both muscle and strength are some what proportional to each other the fact is that  we can train individually either for muscle growth or for strength.

How to train?

In order to initiate muscle growth, one performing 50 reps with light weight and another performing 2-3 reps with heavy weight. Both of them tends to initiate muscle growth but the person who trains with heavy weight shows higher strength compared to the person carrying light weight. The more your exert the  force with respect to the weight the more strength you can acquire but also it takes long period of time.  Not only hitting the gym but also exercises like calisthenics also tends to show greater strength development rather than huge bulky muscle.

physical strength vs power training

Quite often many people confuse the word strength and power strength is the amount of force exerted against some resistance. But power is the work done in certain period of time that is velocity or speed play a vital role here. In power training time factor is considered.

Why physical strength matters?

Most of the people don’t get to know how influential is physical strength over life. By 2050, People above the age of 65 would be greater in population by number of people   who are less than 15 years this is rare in human history. So what this have to do with physical wellness?

Let me say the people aged above 65 , the proportion of the population is constantly complaining to have one or more chronic illness and this increases every year. Moreover the mortality rate of people aged above 60 who are weak tends to have 175. While people who are strong at the same age tends to have mortality rate of 90. The fact that people at the younger age must develop the habit of incorporating  physical strength or any type of physical activity so that they can live healthy and longer life at their late 50’s and 60’s.

Physical strength and fitness is more often should be  considered as an artform. That is people learning arts like  music does not have any time period within  which they can completely master everything. You keep on learn and experience new stuff till you die, like that even at late 70’s people tend to do strength training and increases muscle mass and strength. Its not a joke there are scientific references out there. In the end to summarize everything in simple words muscle matters and only the strong survives.
